SEOUL January 5 (Yonhap) -- Our merit is our health. If we have shown you guys the healthier external look in the past, it is time for us to show the inner strength we posses.” Addressed Seoi of K-pop girl group H1-Key known to have athletic abilities throughout the interview conducted at Yonhap News Agency for their upcoming first mini album “Rose Blossom” dropping on Thursday.

Starting with the title track “Rose Blossom” H1-Key’s first mini album includes total of 7 various tracks which sends hopeful messages to those who have hard time living through such callous world.

The title track “Rose Blossom” withholds H1-Key’s cheerful message she intends on delivering to its audience. Throughout the track H1-Key addresses roses as something that never gives up and ends up overcoming the hardships such as bugs, or strong winds and bloom to be a beautiful flower within the grey city.

“Just like the rose which bloom despite of its harsh condition, we will overcome our difficulties together as a group.” H1-Key’s member Seoi addressed throughout the interview.

The song is not only for their fans but also a track dedicated to members themselves for their second anniversary of debut. Just like the rose needs to overcome the hardships like bugs and strong winds to bloom H1-Key might face hardships to be successful in the future.

Riina of H1-Key stated “Because we are a brand new girl group, the immaturity as a group was the biggest dissatisfaction points.”

“The way we couldn’t be satisfied and confident with ourselves was the ‘bugs’ and ‘the strong wind’ for us.” address H1-Key’s Yel throughout the interview.

When they first debuted, the group had hard time tapping the mic to their body.

However after they released their second single “Run” and continued on with their career, members have slowly built up the confidence.

“As we built up the teamwork, we have managed to become more confident in ourselves.,” adding “Therefore we were able to develop ourselves and managed to deliver what we have accomplished.” Stated Yel throughout the interview.

H1-Key, participated in “2022 k-Music, Pyeongchang” festival, which was their first outdoor performance since their debut in 2022.

“Although it was our first performance there was no pressure,” adding “By looking at our fans eyes, and truly connect with one another we were able to perform a better set than we would normally do on Tv show.” H1-Key’s member Hwiseo addressed throughout the interview.

After releasing their first single “Athletic Girl” on January of 2022, H1-Key was loved by their fans for showcasing very bold and confidence.

At first H1-key debuted as quartet including member Seoi, Yel, Sitala, and Riina.

However Sitala leaves the group and right before their release of “Run” Hwiseo joins the group making H1-Key a quartet again.

Based on the data collected on April, the music video of “Athletic Girl” exceeded over 11.76 million views and “Run” exceeded over 14.04 million views on YouTube. Judging by the fact that most of the comments posted within the music videos are in English, group’s popularity in foreign nation can be expected.

“I was very moved when they hung a photo of us at a bus stop to celebrate our first year anniversary of debut.” addressed Seoi throughout the interview.

In 2023 members of H1-Key addressed that there are a lot of things they want to try out.

“First goal of the year is taking the first place on a music show, and we really hope we can achieve our goal in 2023.” addressed Riina of K-pop girl group H1-Key throughout their interview.
