SEOUL, May 28 (Yonhap) -- RM, a member of global superband BTS, has released the music video for "Groin," a track from his second solo album. Big Hit Music announced on the 28th that the video captures RM performing on the streets of London.

 

"Groin" is an alternative hip-hop track that candidly expresses what RM wants to say to people he dislikes. The music video showcases RM delivering intense rap verses in a free-spirited manner. Notably, the video relies solely on RM's natural charisma, gestures, facial expressions, and editing cuts, eschewing flashy special effects.

 

The video was directed by Japanese director Pennacky, who previously collaborated with RM on Balming Tiger's "Sexy Nukim" music video in 2022.

 

Pennacky explained, "I wanted to capture RM as he is. Instead of meticulously planning out a synopsis, we engaged in real-time conversations with RM and the production team during filming. This approach allowed us to capture some fun and interesting moments, resulting in a more natural music video."
