SEOUL, Oct. 7 (Yonhap) -- Actress Choi Jung-yoon and Yoon Tae-joon, the eldest son of chairman Park Sung-kyung of the E-Land Welfare Foundation, will divorce after 10 years of marriage.
"Choi is in the process of divorce," announced Choi's agency Workhouse Company on Wednesday. "As this matter is part of Choi's private life, it is difficult to reveal any details."
Choi was introduced to her husband through an acquaintance and the couple began a romantic relationship. Choi and Yoon married in 2011 and have one daughter.
Debuting in 1997 with the drama "Beautiful Lady," Choi also starred in "Honest Living," "Rooftop Room Cat," "Smile, You," "Ojakgyo Family," and "Angel's Choice." Recently, Choi also landed with a leading role as Do Yeon-hui in the SBS TV drama "Amor Fati."
Yoon made his debut as a member of boy group Eagle Five in 1999 and worked in the entertainment industry under the name T.J. Yoon. Yoon also majored in economics in the U.S. and ran a private business separately from the E-Land Group, but was sentenced to probation and a fine of 500 million won in 2017.
