SEOUL October 28 (Yonhap) -- On October 27 (Argentina time) local media from Argentina such as La Nacion, Clarin and more published about excited fans from Buenos Aires due to upcoming concert which will be held by Jin from K-pop superstar BTS in Argentina.
According to the local media, starting with BTS’ fans, also known as ARMY members and K-pop fans gathered up at the Estadio Mas Monumental, which can withhold over 70 thousand audiences, a day before the concert in order to see the K-pop superstar who has been off stage for some time.
Jin will be taking the stage as a guest of UK’s world famous rock band Coldplay’s tour on Friday.
Throughout the concert Jin will be showcasing his collaborative track with Coldplay “This Astronaut” for the first time.
BTS and Coldplay has history of releasing a collaborative track “My Universe” in September of 2022, collaborative track topped Billboard’s main single chart “Hot 100.”
At the Estadio Mas Monumental, which is a home ground of Argentina’s professional soccer team River Plate, fans have lined up to get the good seats, some of the fans camped outside the structure. Fan products decorated around the area could be spotted as well.
Throughout the wait fans are dancing to the tracks by BTS and Coldplay to spend the time while they wait, addressed local media.
Moreover, around 1000 of the fans have visited the airport in hope to greet the artist but, they were unfortunate and failed to meet Jin arriving at Argentina.
The heat continued on through online media as well, on October 25, in one day there were over 500 thousand twits related to Argentina uploaded to the platform.
Some of the fans showcased their excitement through placing hashtags such as “Welcome to Arjintina” using the artist name Jin and the name of the country Argentina.
