SEOUL September 30 (Yonhap) -- South Korean blockbuster “Honest Candidate 2,”and “Confidential Assignment 2: International” will be competing against one another for the top spot of S.Korean box office.

According to the integrated network of movie tickets by the Korean Film Council, on Friday, “Honest Candidate 2” kept its place on top of the South Korean box office since September 28. The total admission count for the movie has exceeded over 150 thousand people.

The movie “Honest Candidate 2” is about the story of mayor Joo Sang-sook of Gangwon province acted by actress Ra Mi-ran, and Park Hee-cheol acted by Kim Mu-yeol, who are unable to lie.

“Confidential Assignment 2: International” which is in its fourth week of premiere is not an easy competitor.

“Honest Candidate 2” topped the South Korean box office by leading against “Confidential Assignment 2 : International” by attracting 6000 audiences on its first day of premiere. Animation movie “Crayon Shin-chan: Shrouded in Mystery! The Flowers of Tenkazu Academy,” documentary film “The Man Who Paints Water drops” and more will be debuting through the screen this weekend.
