SEOUL September 30 (Yonhap) -- South Korean blockbuster “Honest Candidate 2,”and “Confidential Assignment 2: International” will be competing against one another for the top spot of S.Korean box office.

According to the integrated network of movie tickets by the Korean Film Council, on Friday, “Honest Candidate 2” kept its place on top of the South Korean box office since September 28. The total admission count for the movie has exceeded over 150 thousand people.

The movie “Honest Candidate 2” is about the story of mayor Joo Sang-sook of Gangwon province acted by actress Ra Mi-ran, and Park Hee-cheol acted by Kim Mu-yeol, who are unable to lie.

“Confidential Assignment 2: International” which is in its fourth week of premiere is not an easy competitor.

Musical film “Life is Beautiful” featuring Yeom Jung-ah and Ryu Seung-ryong which premiered on September 28 placed third on South Korean box office.

Animation movie “Crayon Shin-chan: Shrouded in Mystery! The Flowers of Tenkazu Academy,” documentary film “The Man Who Paints Water drops” and more will be debuting through the screen this weekend.
