SEOUL, Oct. 10 (Yonhap) -- Jennie of BLACKPINK has unveiled a new Korean font in collaboration with her agency to mark Hangeul Day and promote the beauty of the Korean alphabet.
OA Entertainment announced the free release of its new Korean font “Zen Serif" on Thursday, which combines the Western blackletter style with Hangul, the font features softer curves and a less rigid impression.
The font is available for download on OA Entertainment’s official website and can also be used in the short-form video editing app “Edits” on Instagram.
The agency noted that this marks the first time a Korean font has been integrated into “Edits.”
OA Entertainment said, “‘Zen Serif’ was created to promote the beauty of Hangul worldwide,” adding, “Jennie has previously expressed her pride in Korean culture through her song ‘Seoul City,’ featured in her first full-length album.”
