SEOUL, Jan. 7 (Yonhap) -- Actor couple Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin have donated 300 million won to support the treatment of underprivileged children and adolescents.

 

According to Hyun Bin’s agency, VAST Entertainment, the couple donated 150 million won each to Seoul Asan Medical Center and Samsung Medical Center on Monday. 

 

The couple shared, "We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to help others and wanted to share a part of our hearts. Every time we see our child growing up healthily, we feel an unexplainable sense of responsibility for children who are not as fortunate."

 

They added, "We hope that these children can return to their bright, pure selves and live healthily to illuminate the world."

 

The donation to Asan Medical Center will be used to support the treatment of patients in difficult circumstances. At Samsung Medical Center, the funds will contribute to the pediatric and obstetrics and gynecology development fund to aid projects in these medical fields.
