SEOUL, Aug. 5 (Yonhap) -- K-pop group Oh My Girl performed in hanbok (Korean traditional clothes) at the "Kansai Collection," Japan's largest fashion show held at Kyocera Dome, Osaka on Thursday.

According to the Korea Tourism Organization, Oh My Girl appeared on stage wearing a fusion hanbok and sang three songs including "Secret Garden."

Oh My Girl visited the Korean travel experience booth in Kycera Dome after the performance and held a sign that read "You can go to Korea without a visa for a limited time in August," promoting the charm of Korean tourism.

While Oh My Girl held the sign, they showed strong passion for singing during their performance.

About 25,000 people visited the fashion show venue on that day, and it is estimated that up to 2 million people watched the event online, the Tourism Organization said.

"We promoted the Korean tourism targeting the young generation (generation born in the 1980s and 2000s) of Japan as much as they are interested in traveling to Korea. We also tried to make it a issue by promoting hanbok in Japan's fashion show," said Kim Tae-yoon, head of the Osaka Branch of the Korea Tourism Organization.
