SEOUL April 26 (Yonhap) — South Korean singer Paul Kim announced on Thursday that he will marry his partner of nine years.

In a handwritten letter posted on his official website, artist revealed the news of his impending marriage.

“I’ve found someone who has always reassured me that everything will be okay in difficult moments,” Kim introduced his fiancee in the letter. “Over the course of nearly nine years, she has understood and supported me within the limits of my abilities and shortcomings. Now, we have decided to commit to each other for life.”

Paul Kim stated that they intend to forego a traditional wedding ceremony with the blessing of both families.

“We plan to skip the formalities and hold a ceremony that truly reflects our intentions,” he explained.

Assuring his fans, artist pledged, “I will continue to be the Paul Kim who sings, never forgetting the gratitude I’ve received, and showing my growth.”

Paul Kim, known for his soulful ballads, has garnered a large following in South Korea and beyond. He expressed gratitude to his fans for their support throughout his career.
