SEOUL, September 20 (Yonhap) -- The dance practice video of BLACKPINK's new title song "Shut Down" surpassed 10 million views on YouTube in less than a day after it was released around midnight.

YG Entertainment introduced the dance practice video by saying, "BLACKPINK'S diverse facial expressions, detailed technique, and control of pace have been put into the video."

With their global popularity, BLACKPINK confirmed their appearance on the United States' ABC channel's famous talk show "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"

"Jimmy Kimmel Live!" is a late-night talk show which has been hosted by the United States' famous TV star and comedian Jimmy Kimmel since 2003.

BLACKPINK will be performing "Shut Down" on the show on Tuesday, 12:35 p.m. (KST).

It is the first time in about two years since BLACKPINK appeared on the show in October 2020, when they were in their promotional period with their first full-length album, "THE ALBUM."

BLACKPINK set a record by selling 1.01 copies on the first day of the release of their new album, "Born Pink," for the first time in a K-pop girl group. BLACKPINK will go on a world tour, with a capacity of 1.5 million people,  touring North America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania, starting with the KSPO Dome in Seoul Olympic Park on October 15 and 16.
