SEOUL, Jan. 31 (Yonhap) -- BTS' Jimin has reaffirmed his determination to deliver an outstanding performance upon the group’s full reunion, stating, "My resolve to present the best stage for those who have waited for us remains unchanged."

 

Jimin shared his thoughts on the fan platform Weverse the previous day, saying, "It has been quite a while since we last performed together, and it's been some time since I fully dedicated myself to the stage and music. That makes me a little nervous." He added, "I will work hard to prepare. I promise to return in great form," according to the music industry on Thursday.

 

Jimin enlisted in December 2023 alongside fellow BTS member Jungkook and is currently serving as an active-duty soldier in the army. He is expected to be discharged in June.

 

Reflecting on his military service, Jimin remarked, "Since enlisting in December two years ago, two years have already passed. I’ve been serving for about a year and two months now, and time seems to flow differently here. It’s not always easy, but I’ve been learning and experiencing new things. I eagerly look forward to the days when I can chat with you all about what has happened during this time."

 

Notably, he revealed, "Since the new year began, the conversations Jungkook and I have before bed have changed a lot. As the days until we meet ARMY (BTS's fandom) again draw closer, we talk a lot about what we need to prepare before we reunite, the kind of image we want to present, and what kind of lives we will lead moving forward."

 

Despite his military service, Jimin has continued to achieve remarkable success with his solo work. His second solo album MUSE and its title track Who have remained on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 26 consecutive weeks, demonstrating his ongoing global impact.
