SEOUL, Jan. 10 (Yonhap) -- Legendary singer Na Hoon-a will hold his final concert, "2024 Na Hoon-a, Thank You - Last Concert," from Friday to Sunday in Seoul, concluding his illustrious 58-year career.

The three-day event will take place at the KSPO Dome in the Olympic Park.

Following his announcement of retirement from the music industry in February last year, Na Hoon-a spent the past year bidding farewell to fans through a nationwide tour, performing in cities such as Daejeon, Gangneung, Andong, Jinju, Incheon, and Gwangju.

The Seoul concert marks the grand finale of this farewell tour, where Na Hoon-a will take his final bow on stage.

Since his self-declared debut in 1967, Na Hoon-a has captivated audiences with hit songs like Musi-ro, Weeds, Hongshi, and Mr. Trot Philosophy (Tess-hyung), becoming a cultural icon across generations.

In a heartfelt letter released through his agency last October, Na Hoon-a reflected on his impending retirement:

"It’s hard to imagine what emotions I’ll feel stepping onto the stage for the last time, but as always, my heart is full of determination to give my very best performance."

He concluded the letter by saying, "I will sing the song of farewell with a bright smile. Thank you, everyone!"

Fans are expected to fill the KSPO Dome to bid a fond farewell to the beloved artist, whose music has left an indelible mark on Korea's music history.
