SEOUL, Aug. 21 (Yonhap) -- Super Junior's Sungmin, who transitioned into a trot singer, will release his new single "YO.YO.YO." on August 22, as announced by SM Entertainment on the 20th.
The single includes the upbeat title track of the same name, "YO.YO.YO.," which combines lively sounds with an addictive melody, and a ballad titled Hwaryeonghwa (The Most Beautiful Moment in Life), which sings about the emotions of meeting a loved one for the first time.
The title track uses the popular catchphrase "It was like this, then like that, and now it's like this," to express the transformative power of love and how it leads to positive changes in one's heart.
The track was produced by the trot producer group 'Algoboni Honsusangtae' (Kim Kyung-bum and Kim Ji-hwan), known for hits like Park Hyun-bin's Shabang Shabang and Young Tak's Jjin-iya.
Sungmin made his debut as a trot singer last year with the single Lovesick.
