SEOUL, Jan. 2 (Yonhap) — As the Year of Eulsa begins, stars born under the blue snake zodiac are anticipated to make significant strides in their respective fields.

Among actors born in 1941, Kim Hye-ja, known as the "Nation's Mother," draws attention. She is set to return to the small screen after three years with JTBC's upcoming drama More Beautiful Than Heaven.

Directed by Kim Seok-yoon, who helmed the award-winning The Light in Your Eyes (2019), the series follows 80-year-old protagonist Hae-sook as she reunites with a loved one in heaven, offering a poignant romance.

For singer and broadcaster Bae Cheol-soo, born in 1953, the new year marks a milestone. Having hosted MBC FM4U's Bae Cheol-soo's Music Camp since March 1990, he celebrates the program’s 35th anniversary, continuing to connect with listeners every evening at 6 p.m.

Another prominent name is Kim Gook-jin, born in 1965. Known for his gentle humor and sharp wit, he has hosted the long-running MBC talk show Radio Star for over 16 years.

Jeon Hyun-moo, born in 1977, is expected to dominate the entertainment scene this year. In 2024, he appeared in 22 programs as a regular cast member, underscoring his versatility and demand. Speculation surrounds whether Jeon will win his third MBC Entertainment Award, having previously won in 2017 and 2022. The award ceremony, delayed due to the Jeju Air tragedy at Muan International Airport, will air at a later date.
