SEOUL, Jan. 1 (Yonhap) -- South Korean star singer Lim Young-woong will proceed with his large-scale solo concert, Lim Young-woong Recital, at Seoul's Gocheok Sky Dome as scheduled.

 

Lim's agency, Fish Music, announced their decision through a notice on the fan cafe on the 31st, stating, "After careful consideration, we have decided to proceed with the concert to honor the valuable promises made to fans who have waited for a long time, as well as to the staff and stakeholders involved in the preparation."

 

The concert series, spanning six performances from November 27–29 and December 2–4, sold out immediately upon ticket release.

 

Fish Music expressed their condolences, saying, "We deeply mourn the recent tragic accident and extend our heartfelt condolences to the victims and their bereaved families. We share in the profound sorrow of all those affected."

 

The agency added, "We are committed to ensuring this concert serves as a sincere moment of comfort and hope, preparing with a heavier heart in light of the tragedy. We genuinely hope we can all come together to overcome this challenging time."

 

To accommodate affected attendees, Fish Music announced they will provide full refunds for ticket cancellations without any fees.

 

During the third concert on November 29, Lim himself conveyed his sentiments, stating, "I sincerely send my condolences to the victims and their families."
