(LEAD) M.C The MAX J.Yoon-death

SEOUL, May 13 (Yonhap) -- J.Yoon (real name Yoon Jae-woong, 38), a member of the Korea trio rock band M.C The MAX, passed away on Thursday.
According to the police, Yoon was found dead at his home in Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul later today. When J.Yoon's agency could not reach the singer, they reported to the police, and the police who were dispatched reportedly found J.Yoon already dead.
No suicide note was found at the scene. A police official said, "We will ask the National Forensic Service to conduct an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death."
The agency 325 E&C announced Yoon's death and said, "I feel so sad to tell the fans who have given endless support and love to J.Yoon."
"All of M.C The MAX members and executives and employees are mourning the deceased in great sorrow at the sudden sad news," the agency said. "Please pray for the repose of the deceased so that J. Yoon can rest comfortably."
Yoon debuted as a member of band Moon Child in 2000 and played violin and bass on the team.
Moon Child has changed its team name to M.C The MAX since 2002 and gained high popularity for its emotional rock ballads such as "No matter where," "Goodbye for a moment" and "Poem of Love." The band recently released a commemorative album to mark the 20th anniversary of their debut (2020).
Yoon composed songs for M.C The MAX and also worked as a composer for K-pop groups such as INFINITE. He also recently appeared in the variety film 'Bike Guys in Italy'.
