The South Korean fever started with their popular drama, Winter Sonata.

The movies and k-dramas that are aired all reflect the culture of their country which seems fun and interesting for the people making them more interested to visit and experience the culture themselves. While people who love to watch these movies and K-dramas become used and familiar with the language thus unintentionally able to pick up the language. So nowadays, there are more and more foreigners who can master the Korean language well just by watching dramas and the show aired.
