SEOUL, Oct. 16 (Yonhap) -- Fashion platform W Concept said Friday it has opened "W Hannam," its first standalone flagship store since its founding, in Hannam-dong, central Seoul, as it expands its primarily online business into the offline retail space.
W Hannam spans four floors, from basement level 1 to the third floor, with a total sales area of 384 square meters (4,133 square feet), and offers fashion, beauty and lifestyle products.
W Concept plans to apply its product planning expertise built online to the physical retail space and introduce emerging Korean designer brands and products highlighting Korean aesthetics to customers at home and abroad.
To celebrate the store's opening, W Concept is also holding an event through the end of this month in collaboration with 18 partner brands in the Hannam-dong area. Customers can pick up a map at W Hannam, visit nearby brand stores, including Siazju, Lookast, Til I Die and Loeuvre, and receive a random gift after verifying their visits.
A W Concept official said, "W Hannam is a space where customers can directly experience W Concept's product planning expertise and the originality of designer brands," adding, "We will also film live broadcasts at the offline store and operate it as a hub connecting customers with brands."
