SEOUL, Oct. 12 (Yonhap) — CJ Olive Young said Monday it has completed the rollout of its "Olive Young K-Beauty Edit" displays at major offline stores and online malls operated by Sephora in four Asian markets — Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Hong Kong.
Olive Young has been working with Sephora since signing a partnership in January. The strategy is aimed at expanding connections between K-beauty brands and global consumers by leveraging the distribution network of a major beauty platform.
In August, Olive Young opened displays at Sephora stores in the United States.
To target the Southeast Asian market, Olive Young has curated products tailored to the region's hot and humid climate.
The displays offer skincare and sun-protection products from brands including Dr. Althea, Manyo Factory, BIOHEAL BOH, beplain, Haruharu Wonder and HEBE BLUE.
To raise brand awareness, Olive Young is also holding a pop-up from Oct. 8-14 at ION Orchard, a shopping complex in Singapore.
Olive Young plans to expand its "Olive Young K-Beauty Edit" displays to Sephora stores in Canada, Australia, Britain and the Middle East in 2027.
"Based on curation that reflects consumer data and trends in each market, we will continue to expand the global consumer base for K-beauty," an Olive Young official said.
