SEOUL, Sept. 29 (Yonhap) -- K-pop boy band BIGBANG performed at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on Sept. 26 (local time) as part of its world tour "XX : COSMOS," its agency YG Entertainment said Tuesday.
It was BIGBANG's first standalone tour performance in London for local fans in 13 years and nine months since 2012.
The group performed at Stade de France, France's largest stadium, on Sept. 19 before moving on to the large-scale London stadium.
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is one of Britain's major stadiums and has hosted performances by global artists including Beyonce and Lady Gaga.
BIGBANG opened the concert with "FANTASTIC BABY" and went on to perform a series of its signature songs, including "Haru Haru" and "Lies."
"Celebrating BIGBANG's 20th anniversary feels like a miracle. It would not have been possible without your love and support," the members said. "Thanks to V.I.P. (the group's fandom), we are able to stand here today as the BIGBANG we dreamed of becoming. We sincerely thank you and love you."
BIGBANG is currently on a large-scale world tour, with plans to meet fans around the world through 39 concerts in 19 cities.
